Licensed Electrical Worker / Professional Engineer Services
Electrical Installation Licensing & Renewal
Under the Electricity Act, an Energy Market Authority (EMA) Electrical Installation (EI) license is required to use or operate an electrical installation of approved load exceeding 45kVA for non-domestic purposes. Electrical installations in premises used for “hazardous trades”, irrespective of their approved loads, are also required to be licensed.
As your appointed Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW), we will: –
1. Apply for the EI License (To be renewed yearly / 3 month) on your behalf.
2. Take charge of your building’s electrical installation.
3. Inspect & test your electrical installation to ensure it is safe for use.
4. Submit inspection reports, maintenance reports, updated single-line drawings, and other relevant documents related to your electrical installation to EMA.
5. Provide recommendation for servicing / maintenance when necessary.
6. Carry out any switching operations necessary for your electrical installation.
7. Assess & approve any new connections to your electrical installation.
8. Update any change of particulars on your electrical installation as necessary.
9. Provide advice on any technical / licensing matters related to your electrical installation.
Supply Installation Licensing & Renewal
Under the Electricity Act, an Energy Market Authority (EMA) Supply Installation (SI) license is required to use or operate an electrical installation that draws the electricity supply from generators used solely by the consumer regardless of the approved load.
As your appointed Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW), we will: –
1. Apply for the SI License (To be renewed yearly / 3 month) on your behalf.
2. Take charge of your building’s electrical installation.
3. Inspect & test your electrical installation to ensure it is safe for use.
4. Submit inspection reports, maintenance reports, updated single-line drawings, and other relevant documents related to your electrical installation to EMA.
5. Provide recommendation for servicing / maintenance when necessary.
6. Carry out any switching operations necessary for your electrical installation.
7. Assess & approve any new connections to your electrical installation.
8. Update any change of particulars on your electrical installation as necessary.
9. Provide advice on any technical / licensing matters related to your electrical installation.
Electricity Application & Submissions
Any application or submissions to Energy Market Authority / Singapore Power Grid will have to be made by a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW).
As your appointed Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW), we can advise & assist you in the submission for (not limited to): –
1. CS1 – Connection to Singapore Power (SP) transmission system.
2. CS3 – Application to Building LEW for consent to tap off electricity supply from the building.
3. CS3/H – Application to HDB for consent to tap off electricity supply from HDB switch-room.
4. CS5 – Application for Singapore Power Testing (For residential electrical installation / electrical installation with approved load not exceeding 45kVA)
5. CS7 – Application for Singapore Power (SP) meter.
6. CSC03 – Certification of lightning protection system for submission to Building Construction Authority (BCA).
